Preamp circuit complete. The coupling caps are Hovland Music Caps, 3.0uF. The signal wiring is varnish insulated magnet wire which is a real trip to work with. It requires a very hot iron to burn away the insulation. But it's advertised to be oxygen free and quite good so I decided to give it a try. Doc B Sells it www.bottlehead.com 

Note I moved the heater wiring to hit the rectifier first. I don't know if this has any significance since they're paralled, but it seems to be standard so I changed it. I had to change the front tube sockets anyway since the high temperature required to work with the magnet wire caused solder to run into a couple of pin holes....OOOPS! I preburned that varnish off after that.
