I checked voltages and rechecked work before installing the tubes and all looked well. I put the tubes in and powered up. I kept waiting for the dreaded noise so common in tube audio but there was none. I put my ear right up to the speakers and it was quiet. I though it wasn't working until I played some music.

So, how does it sound??? Most likely the best 1 1/2 watts you'll ever hear! Excellent vocals and imaging.
